📜 First Home Owner Grant Amendment Bill 2017
Amends the First Home Owner Grant Act 2000 to temporarily increase the grant from $10,000 to $15,000 for new homes purchased or built between 1 January and 30 June 2017, and makes administrative changes.

Commissioner may recover legal costs incurred by the Commissioner in relation to proceedings for the recovery of an amount referred to in section 53(1)(a) to (d).
“The Commissioner may, by written notice, require an applicant to pay the legal costs incurred by the Commissioner in relation to proceedings for the recovery of an amount referred to in section 53(1)(a) to (d).”
Payment required under subsection (1) must be paid by the applicant within 28 days after the date on which notice of the requirement is given to the applicant.
“Subject to any arrangement made under section 52, a payment required under subsection (1) must be paid by the applicant within 28 days after the date on which notice of the requirement is given to the applicant.”
