40. Behaving in threatening manner or using prohibited item (1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, in a Land Forces security area — (a) behave in a threatening manner; or (b) use a prohibited item in a threatening manner. Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $12 000 and imprisonment for 1 year. (2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, in a Land Forces security area, use a prohibited item in a way that causes, or is likely to cause, damage to property or injury to a person. Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $12 000 and imprisonment for 1 year.

Fine: $6,000

41. Prohibited items (1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, possess a prohibited item in a Land Forces security area. Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $6 000. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a police officer or a recognised law enforcement officer acting in the performance of the officer’s functions.
