“(1) In section 48(3)(a) delete “expired certificate, any additional amount prescribed by way of penalty for a late application; and” and insert: application made after the expiry day (as defined in section 48A(1)(a)), the prescribed fee for a late renewal application; and”

“(4) If a licensee’s application for renewal of a triennial certificate is made after the last day (the expiry day) of the period during which the certificate has effect under subsection (1) or (2), the application must be accompanied by the prescribed fee for a late renewal application, subject to subsection (5).”
