Amends the navigable waters regulations 1958 by updating references to the wildlife conservation act 1950 with the biodiversity conservation act 2016.

Made by the governor in executive council. These regulations are the navigable waters amendment regulations 2018. These regulations come into operation as follows — regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the gazette; the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the biodiversity conservation act 2016 section 278 comes into operation. These regulations amend the navigable waters regulations 1958. In regulation 19e(2)(b) delete “wildlife conservation act 1950” and insert: biodiversity conservation act 2016.
