Pearling (Pearl Oyster Shell Size) Notice 2024
Sets the minimum shell width for pinctada maxima at 100mm and revokes the 1997 notice.

This notice is the pearling (pearl oyster shell size) notice 2024. For the purposes of section 21(1) of the act, the minimum size in respect of the species pinctada maxima is a shell width of 100 mm. The pearling (pearl oyster shell size) notice 1997, published in government gazette no.231 on 23 december 1997, is revoked.
