This notice is the energy safety levy notice 2025. It applies in respect of the financial year commencing on 1 july 2025 and is made having regard to the business plan for that financial year. The total amount to be raised by way of levy is $9 200 000. Energy industry participants are liable to pay a levy if on 31 march 2025 they operate 1 or more networks and there are 500 or more consumer sites connected directly to a network operated by the participant.
