I, Colin John Blanch APM, State Emergency Coordinator, hereby extend the emergency situation declaration made on 13 February 2025 at 0930hrs, in respect of Severe Tropical Cyclone Zelia (incident 709030). The emergency situation declaration is extended for a period of 6 months, until 23 August 2025. The powers that may be exercised during the period by which the emergency situation declaration is extended are those powers under sections 69 and 72 of the Emergency Management Act 2005.
