I, Iain Dainty as Chief Dangerous Goods Officer, hereby give notice of amendment to the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road & Rail, also called the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, published by the National Transport Commission, and adopted by the Dangerous Goods Safety (General) Regulations 2007 in accordance with subsection 19(2) of the Dangerous Goods Safety Act 2004. Edition 7.9 of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code can be used from 1 October 2024 and is compulsory from 1 October 2025. A copy of Edition 7.9 of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code is available for public inspection at the offices of Worksafe WA of the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety at 303 Sevenoaks Street, Cannington WA 6107. It is also available at the website for the National Transport Commission.
