Enacts the Shire of Esperance Cemeteries Local Law 2023, applying to all cemeteries within the Shire of Esperance and repealing the 2002 version.

The council of the Shire of Esperance resolved on 27th June 2023 to make the Shire of Esperance Cemeteries Local Law 2023. This local law applies to all cemeteries located within the Shire of Esperance and comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette. The Shire of Esperance Cemeteries Local Law 2002 is repealed.
Related notices
Requires landowners and occupiers within the Shire of Esperance to clear firebreaks or take other measures by October 9, 2026, and maintain them until March 31, 2027.
Amends the Shire of Esperance Activities in Thoroughfares and Public Places and Trading Local Law 2025 by updating definitions and prescribed offences.
Enacts the Shire of Esperance Health Amendment Local Law 2026.
Authorises general retail shops in Esperance to open during otherwise closed hours.
