MA301 Jetties Act 1926 Jetties Amendment Regulations 2017 Made by the Governor in Executive Council. 1. Citation These regulations are the Jetties Amendment Regulations 2017. 2. Commencement These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2017. 3. Regulations amended These regulations amend the Jetties Regulations 1940. 4. Regulation 73 amended After regulation 73(1) insert: (1A) A permit for the exclusive use of a berth granted under subregulation (1) remains in force for such period as is specified on the permit, which may exceed 1 year from the date of issue. 5. Schedule 1 clause 12 amended In Schedule 1 clause 12(3) Table 12.1: (a) delete items 10 and 11; (b) in items 12 and 13 delete “pen, alongside berth or piled mooring” and insert: pen or alongside berth (c) in item 15 delete “pen, alongside berth other than the service wharf or piled mooring” and insert: pen or alongside berth other than the service wharf 6. Schedule 1 clause 13 amended Delete Schedule 1 clause 13(2) Table 13.1 item 1. 2624 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 26 May 2017 7. Schedule 1 clause 22 amended Delete Schedule 1 clause 22(3) Table 22.1 and insert: Table 22.1 (Pen use and berthing) Item Service $ 1. For the use, other than casual daily use, of a berth at the service wharf or jetty by a recreational vessel, Government vessel, tourism vessel or fishing vessel, an amount calculated per metre of the vessel’s length using the annual rate of 518.00 2.
