Given under the letters patent relating to the office of governor of the state of western australia dated 14 february 1986 clause xxi. This notice is the deputy of the governor notice (no. 4) 2019. Under the letters patent relating to the office of governor of the state of western australia dated 14 february 1986 clause xvi the governor has appointed the honourable justice rene lucien le miere to be the deputy of the governor and in that capacity to perform and exercise all of the powers and functions of the governor for the period 9 october 2019 to 10 october 2019 (both dates inclusive).
