This determination ceases the provision of benefits to former members of parliament. Benefits for former premiers will be significantly reduced and limited to costs arising from their capacity as a former premier. The tribunal’s consideration of this area evolved from its review of remuneration, entitlements and allowances provided to current members of parliament, which was completed in 2016.
