The Minister for Heritage made the Heritage (Vergulde Draeck [Gilt Dragon] Shipwreck Survivors’ Campsite) Consent Order 2025 under section 55 of the Heritage Act 2018. The order prohibits certain activities at the Vergulde Draeck (Gilt Dragon) Shipwreck Survivors’ Campsite without written approval from the Authorised Person, including disturbing evidence, bringing vehicles onto the site, demolishing any part of the place, and undertaking excavation.
