Peter Woronzow, as Commissioner of Main Roads, makes an order under Section 33 of the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012 to modify dimension and mass requirements for applicable heavy vehicles, subject to specified conditions. This order, the Electric and Safer Freight Vehicles Order, takes effect on the day of publication and continues until related Road Traffic (Vehicles) Regulations 2014 amendments take effect. It applies to Electric Freight Vehicles and Safer Freight Vehicles, modifying width and mass limits under certain conditions.
