I, Gary Dreibergs, Acting Commissioner of Police, declare that a “licensed pilot vehicle driver” is an authorised person for the purposes of regulations 272(1)(a) and 272(1)(d) of the Road Traffic Code 2000—whilst performing their functions in facilitating the safe movement of an oversize vehicle escorted by a licensed pilot vehicle driver.
