Pursuant to Section 36G(3) of the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1998 (the Act), the Minister is to determine the Emergency Services Levy (ESL) that is payable for the next levy year on all land that is located in an ESL area. Your approval is sought for a determination that the emergency services levy payable for the levy year 2022-23 is $417,488,000. Pursuant to Section 36G(3) of the Act, that figure has been identified by reference to relevant matters.
