Cancellation of Registration (11 Parties) — Electoral Act 1907
Cancels the registration of eleven political parties for failing to apply for continued registration.

Section 217(3) of the Electoral Act 1907 requires the registration of an existing political party to be cancelled if that party did not make an application for continued registration within twelve months of the commencement of the Constitutional and Electoral Legislation Amendment (Electoral Equality) Act 2021. Eleven political parties did not make an application for continued registration within the specified period. On 20 February 2023, in accordance with sections 62L(5), 217(3) and 217(4) of the Electoral Act 1907, I decided to cancel the registration of those eleven political parties.
