For the purposes of prevention of infection and control of the spread of ehrlichia canis, the kimberley region of western australia, comprising the shires of broome, derby-west kimberley, halls creek, wyndham-east kimberley, is declared to be an area in relation to which a control order may be made. The controlled area order is made for the control of canines owned or under the control of any person. This order continues to have effect until revoked.
