The following persons are appointed as Shire of Morawa Bush Fire Control Officers under the Bush Fires Act 1954 Part IV Division 1 Section 38 (1): Chief Bush Fire Control Officer—Richard Sasse (Pintharuka Brigade); Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer, Control officer No. 1—Kevin Beattie (Morawa Brigade); Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer, Control officer No. 2—Wayne Kowald (Canna/Gutha Brigade); Bush Fire Control Officers—Mark Teale, Rick Ryan, Jerome Short, Garry Collins, Jeremy Wasley, Robert Kowald, Glen Tapscott, Darren Yewers, Mark Coaker, Laurie North; Permit Issuing Officers—Richard Sasse, Kevin Beattie, Wayne Kowald, Garry Collins, Mark Teale, Rick Ryan, Rob Paull; Fire Weather Officer—Colin Malcolm, Jerome Short. All previous appointments are cancelled.
