These regulations are the police force amendment regulations (no. 2) 2020. These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the road traffic amendment (impaired driving and penalties) act 2020 section 33 comes into operation. These regulations amend the police force regulations 1979. After regulation 605(1)(i)(iv) insert: (iva) is given a prohibition notice under the road traffic act 1974 section 71ba; or
