Under the powers conferred on it by the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007, the Local Government Act 1995 and under all other enabling powers, the Council of the Shire of Northam resolved on 20 May 2020 to make the following local law. This is the Shire of Northam Waste Local Law 2020. This local law commences 14 days after the day on which it is published in the Government Gazette.
Related notices
Determines the gross rental value as the basis for rates for designated land within the Shire of Northam.
Requires landowners in the Shire of Northam to implement fire prevention measures by November 1st and maintain them until April 30th.
Amends the Shire of Northam Local Planning Scheme No. 6 by deleting a special control area, rezoning land, and updating schedules.
Determines that the method of valuation to be used by the Shire of Northam as the basis for a rate in respect of the land referred to in the schedule is to be the gross rental value of the land.
