On 18 September 2023 the Commissioner for Consumer Protection served a notice on The Retired Teachers’ Association of WA informing it that if it did not show cause the incorporation of the Association would be cancelled. The Association did not show cause within the Allowed Period. On 12 December 2023, the Commissioner gave notice in writing to the Association stating that the Commissioner proposed to make an order cancelling the incorporation of the Association. The Association did not apply to SAT for a review within the period specified. Therefore, the Commissioner orders that the incorporation of the Association be cancelled with effect on and from the date of this order.
