Made under the Public Health Act 2016 section 2(c) by the Governor in Executive Council. This proclamation is the Public Health Act 2016 Commencement Proclamation 2017. The Public Health Act 2016 comes into operation as follows โ (a) Part 2 Division 1 (except sections 7 and 8) and Divisions 2, 3 and 4; (b) Part 18 Divisions 1 and 2; (c) Part 20 sections 307, 308, 309, 311 and 312, on 24 January 2017.

Designates The Honourable Matthew Swinbourn MLC as the Minister for the purposes of the Supreme Court Act 1935 section 154(3) and (4) from September 24, 2026, to September 27, 2026.
Approves the temporary appointment of Hon S. N. Dawson MLC as Minister for Police, Emergency Services, and Great Southern from September 24 to September 28, 2026.
Approves the temporary appointment of Hon M. D. Swinbourn MLC to act as Attorney General and Minister for Corrective Services, Commerce, Tertiary and International Education from September 24 to 27, 2026.
