These regulations are the local government (rules of conduct) amendment regulations 2020. These regulations come into operation as follows: regulations 1 and 2 โ on the day on which these regulations are published in the gazette; the rest of the regulations โ on the day after that day. These regulations amend the local government (rules of conduct) regulations 2007. In regulation 9(1) delete โgovernment unless authorised by the council or by the ceo to undertake that task.โ and insert: government.
