In accordance with section 7 of the Water Services Act 2012, the Minister for Water, Hon Dave Kelly MLA, has granted an exemption from the application of section 5(1) of the Act to the Department of Education for the provision of a potable water supply service to the WA Country Health Service (Department of Health). The exempted water service involves the supply of potable water from the Wangkatjungka Remote Community School site to WA Country Health Service staff accommodation adjacent to the site.
