On 15 march 2021 the commonwealth places (mirror taxes) (modification of applied laws (wa)) amendment notice 2020 was registered on the federal register of legislation (under the legislative instruments act 2003 of the commonwealth). The notice was made by the treasurer of western australia under the commonwealth places (mirror taxes) act 1998 of the commonwealth. The notice came into operation on 16 march 2021 under clause 2 of the notice.
