These regulations are the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations (No. 2) 2020. These regulations come into operation as follows — regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; the rest of the regulations — on 1 October 2020. The code of practice set out in Schedule 1 and cited as the Interim Code of Practice for Retirement Villages (No. 2) 2020 is prescribed under section 46(1) of the Act.
