Made by the minister under section 10(1) of the act. This order is the biodiversity conservation (chromista kingdom) order 2018. This order comes into operation as follows — (a) clauses 1 and 2 — on the day on which this order is published in the gazette; (b) the rest of the order — on the day after that day. A native species of the class phaeophyceae (brown algae) belonging to the chromista kingdom is flora for the purposes of the act.
