Section 7 of the Salaries and Allowances Act 1975 ('the Act') requires the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal ('the Tribunal') to inquire into and report to the Minister for Public Sector Management in relation to possible changes in the remuneration paid or provided to Judges, District Court Judges, Masters of the Supreme Court, Magistrates, and the Parliamentary Inspector of the Corruption and Crime Commission. The Act states the Tribunal must recommend the nature and extent of any changes to remuneration, if considered necessary.
