The salaries and allowances tribunal has set the remuneration and allowances for members of parliament with effect from 1 july 2025. Remuneration and allowances are provided based on a number of criteria and are summarised below: base remuneration (all members) $179,462 additional remuneration for office holders (office ranges from $12,032 to $226,863 holders) (based on office held) electorate and parliamentary expenses allowance (all members) $90,000 additional electorate and parliamentary expenses ranges from $10,400 to $23,900 allowance
