Notice is given that the Minister for Mines and Petroleum approved the “Emergency management for Western Australian mines code of practice” considered by the Mining Industry Advisory Committee (December 2017), as a code of practice under section 93(1) of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994. Approval of the code of practice comes into force on the day of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.
