As a measure to assist in the control and prevention of bushfires, owners and/or occupiers of land within the Shire of Esperance have a legal obligation to meet the requisitions of this notice and keep the property complaint from 1 October 2019 until 31 March 2020. Failure to comply may result in a penalty of up to $5000, with additional contractor and administration costs.

Requires landowners and occupiers within the Shire of Esperance to clear firebreaks or take other measures by October 9, 2026, and maintain them until March 31, 2027.
Amends the Shire of Esperance Activities in Thoroughfares and Public Places and Trading Local Law 2025 by updating definitions and prescribed offences.
Enacts the Shire of Esperance Health Amendment Local Law 2026.
Authorises general retail shops in Esperance to open during otherwise closed hours.
