The Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) closes waters to all vessels, excluding emergency and authorised vessels in Thomson Bay between 8:00am on Friday 17 November 2023 and 8:00am on Sunday 19 November 2023. Waters within specified coordinates and east of the Army Groyne are affected. Beach closure extends 280m east of the Army Groyne. Orange flag floats and signage will indicate boundaries. Restrictions are for public safety. Mariners navigate with caution.
