Sites where pinewood is infested with European House Borer (EHB) have been found in various suburbs. Areas are determined to be Restricted Movement Zones (RMZ) under regulation 18A of the Agriculture and Related Resources Protection (European House Borer) Regulations 2006. A new find of EHB in Yanchep and Malmalling extends the Gnangara and Darling Scarp RMZ. Movement of pinewood in these areas is restricted.
