Made under the Constitution Act 1889 section 3 by the Governor in Executive Council. This proclamation is the Proclamation proroguing the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and dissolving the Legislative Assembly 2017. The Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly are prorogued as from the time of the publication of this proclamation in the Government Gazette on Monday 30 January 2017. The Legislative Assembly is dissolved as from the time of the publication of this proclamation in the Government Gazette on Monday 30 January 2017.
