The council of the Shire of Victoria Plains resolved on 19 July 2017 to make the following local law under the powers conferred by the Bush Fires Act 1954 and the Local Government Act 1995. This local law may be cited as the Shire of Victoria Plains Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2017 and will come into operation 14 days after its publication in the Government Gazette. This local law applies throughout the district.
