The council of the City of Karratha resolved on 15 October 2018 to make the Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2018 under the powers conferred by the Bush Fires Act 1954. This local law applies throughout the district and comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
