I, David Templeman MLA, being the Minister of the Crown to whom the administration of the Local Government Act 1995 is committed by the Governor, and acting pursuant to section 6.28(1) and section 6.29(3) of that Act, hereby, and with effect from 30 July 2017 determine that the method of valuation to be used by the Town of Port Hedland, as the basis for a rate on the mining tenement referred to in Column 1 of the Schedule is to be the Gross Rental Value of the land; and expressly exclude the application of section 6.29(2) of the Act to the mining tenements.
