Published by the Director of Energy Safety under section 13E(2a) of the Gas Standards Act 1972. This notice is the Gas Standards—Competent Authorities—Notice 2023. This notice comes into operation on the day after it is published in the Government Gazette. The following persons are hereby recognised as competent authorities for the purpose of testing Type A gas appliances: The Australian Gas Association, SAI Global Pty Limited, IAPMO Oceana Pty. Ltd., Global-Mark Pty Ltd, and BSI Group ANZ Pty Limited.
