These regulations amend the Local Government (Elections) Regulations 1997. The regulations come into operation on the day of gazettal for regulations 1 and 2, and on 2 August 2021 for the rest of the regulations. Amendments are made to regulations 22B, 24, Schedule 1 Form 8, and Schedule 1 Form 9 regarding candidate induction courses and candidate profiles.
