Appointing a Royal Commission to inquire into and report on national natural disaster arrangements. The commission will investigate responsibilities and coordination between levels of government, arrangements for improving resilience and adapting to changing climatic conditions, and changes needed to Australia’s legal framework for Commonwealth involvement in responding to national emergencies.
