Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by regulation 38b of the rottnest island authority regulations 1988, the rottnest island authority (ria) hereby closes the following waters to all vessels, excluding bona fide emergency and authorised vessels— thomson bay—beach access between 6:00am on wednesday 31 december 2025 and 12:00pm on thursday 1 january 2026. All the waters within 25 metres of the shoreline.
