The Conservation and Parks Commission and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions advise that amendments to the Ngari Capes Marine Park Management Plan 2013-2023 were approved by the Minister for Environment on 15 February 2018. The amendments to the management plan were prepared in accordance with section 61 of the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984. A modification was made to the amendments under section 60(2) of the Act. This modification was to reflect that recreational rock lobster potting is permitted in the Margaret River Special Purpose Zone (surfing). The amendments to the management plan come into operation with this Government Gazette notice.
