Notice Text

Under regulation 60 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Regulations 2013, the area within the described boundaries is declared a quarantine area for 6 months following the date of publication. The quarantine area is declared because the declared pest Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer, Euwallacea fornicatus (PSHB) was present in the area on 6 to 16 August 2021 and there are reasonable grounds to suspect the declared pest remains in, or in the vicinity of, the area. Failure to comply could result in a fine or remedial action.
