Part 1 — Preliminary 1. Citation These regulations are the Mines and Petroleum Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2020. 2. Commencement These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2020. Part 2 — Dangerous Goods Safety (Major Hazard Facilities) Regulations 2007 amended 3. Regulations amended This Part amends the Dangerous Goods Safety (Major Hazard Facilities) Regulations 2007. 2128 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 26 June 2020 4. Schedule 3 replaced Delete Schedule 3 and insert: Schedule 3 — Fees [r. 26 and 34] 1. Fees for approval of safety reports (r. 26) The relevant fee to be paid under regulation 26 for an application for approval of a safety report for a major hazard facility is the fee in the Table relevant to the class of the facility. Table Class of facility under r. 33 Fee ($) Class A 115 000 Class B 92 000 Class C 92 000 Class D 20 000 2. Annual fees for major hazard facilities (r. 34) The relevant annual fee to be paid under regulation 34 in respect of a major hazard facility is the fee in the Table relevant to the class of the facility.
