In accordance with section 38 of the Bush Fires Act 1954 the following officers have been appointed bush fire control and fire weather officers for the Shire of Esperance— chief bush fire control/fire weather officer—philip longmire deputy bush fire control/fire weather officer—adrian perks deputy bush fire control/fire weather officer—william carmody senior bush fire control/fire weather officers— west zone tomas carmody west coast zone kingsley scott north zone rory graham east zone simon schlink east coast zone adrian perks urban rural zone peter rowe deputy bush fire control/fire weather officers— west zone william carmody west coast zone peter luberda north zone christopher hallam east zone lyndon mickel east coast zone nicholas ruddenklau urban rural zone ronald chambers.
Related notices
Requires landowners and occupiers within the Shire of Esperance to clear firebreaks or take other measures by October 9, 2026, and maintain them until March 31, 2027.
Amends the Shire of Esperance Activities in Thoroughfares and Public Places and Trading Local Law 2025 by updating definitions and prescribed offences.
Enacts the Shire of Esperance Health Amendment Local Law 2026.
Authorises general retail shops in Esperance to open during otherwise closed hours.
