Made by the Commissioner of Police under section 6 of the Public Order in Streets Act 1984 (the Act). This determination is the Public Order in Streets (Authorised Officers) Determination 2020. The Public Order in Streets (Authorised Officers) Determination 2005 and the Public Order in Streets (Authorised Officers) Determination 2012 are revoked. For the purposes of section 6 of the Act, the Commissioner of Police of Western Australia delegates the duties imposed and powers conferred upon the Commissioner within the Act to commissioned officers of the Western Australia Police Force.
