On 27 November 2019 the Honourable Chief Justice Peter Damien Quinlan assumed the office of Lieutenant-Governor after taking the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Office, as required by the Letters Patent relating to the office of Governor of the State of Western Australia dated 14 February 1986 clause XVII. Commissions appointing the Honourable Chief Justice Peter Damien Quinlan as the Lieutenant-Governor and the Administrator are set out in the Schedule to this notice.
