On 12 June 2017 the Commissioner for Consumer Protection (Commissioner) served notices on East Kimberley Aero Club (Inc), Dreamboats Luxury Motor Yacht Club Inc and Getaway Cruising Club Inc (the Associations) pursuant to section 145(1) of the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (Act) informing it that if they did not show cause on or before 60 days after the day on which the notice was given (Allowed Period) the incorporation of the Associations would be cancelled. The Associations did not show cause within the Allowed Period. Therefore, pursuant to section 147(1) of the Act, the Commissioner orders that the incorporation of the Associations be cancelled with effect on and from the date of this order.
