The Minister for Planning has granted approval to amend Planning Control Area (PCA) 145. PCA 145 has previously been declared and amended to protect land required for the Morley Ellenbrook Line (MEL) at Malaga. The planning control area is now amended to excise a portion of Lot 811, the land east of Beechboro Road North, south of the MEL rail alignment and north of Marshall Road to remove the overlapping purposes of PCA 145 and PCA 174 and ensure alignment between the PCA boundaries.
